PROJECTS

DEMO REEL

This video was not intended to be a portfolio reel, as I was simply trying to convey a point to others in the company I work for some of the stuff I've made for them over the years. This video is heavily geared towards animation, but I have over 1,000 internal videos I have made for Briggs since 2015. Most videos are internal and I cannot share, but there are a few that I can so feel free to reach out and ask directly for those.

TELLING A STORY

Before working at Briggs & Stratton, in 2014 I worked for CBS Milwaukee as their full time morning video editor. Milwaukee is the 34th largest market in the United States, and there are only 4 news agencies in the county, all of which have two full time editors. I was lucky to consider myself one of the 8 people with a full time job editing the morning news for nearly two years before I was cold called by Briggs to work for them.

ROOF INSPECTIONS

Not everything I've done is super flashy. I do various drone videos for condo associations around the area to help save them money on having people to bring heavy people mover equipment to inspect windows. This was put together in 20 minutes and is not a great production, but this was posted to show I am not stuck just creating videos on engines all day.

TRAINING

Sometimes you need to teach people new things. I have over 8 years professional experience running a one million dollar studio while working for Briggs & Stratton doing exclusively that. I work in the education department, and help with script writing, story boards, finding internal talent for on and off camera, and getting a product a client can be proud of.

VIDEO RESUMES

study by the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology found 60% of interviewers know within the first 15 minutes if the candidate they’re interviewing is suitable for the role. I read this once and decided to make a video resume anytime I'm looking for a new job. I haven't had to look for a new job since 2015 so this is my last stab at that almost a decade ago. This may be old, but maybe it'll help you!

ANIMATIONS

I work at an engine company, and demonstrating things to people can be difficult. I decided to pick up animation 4-5 years ago to help better teach the clients of our education department how things work.
